This 16-hour CE course includes PowerPoint lectures on the history, scientific research and strategies of fascial bodywork & manual therapy demonstrations of myofascial techniques with active & passive client movement. Taught in workshop are manual approaches to neck, arms, shoulder, spine, pelvis, legs and feet and postural and movement dysfunctions, and more. Synergetic Myofascial Therapy includes a variety of advanced fascial therapy techniques, rocking/vibration techniques, functional movement assessments, joint opening techniques & assisted stretching to solve pain & dysfunctional mobility patterns. This work teaches massage therapists how to conserve energy and use safe body mechanics and is within the scope of practice for massage therapists as a Postural/Myofascial modality. Safe Body mechanics, anatomy and physiology, physical and postural assessments are also included in the program. Table positions taught are prone, supine, seated and side. A short end game (end of session integration) consisting of fascial hands-on techniques with neck, seated back, and sacrum is also taught to accompany each session. We are very experienced manual therapy practitioners having been educated ourselves by some of the legends in the manual therapy field over the past 30 years. We will show you many valuable manual techniques and approaches that you will easily be able to put in immediate practice. This is NOT a lecture-based training. Be ready to practice manually what we teach, and be open to corrections to ensure effective hands-on applications! We will be there every step of the way helping you in this class to ensure it’s a memorable and valuable hands-on experience for you.
Magnus is trained by the manual therapy legend Emmett Hutchins the protégé of Dr. Ida Rolf. Magnus is in addition to an being an LMT a KMI Structural Integration Practitioner certified by Tom Myers, and a Guild Advanced Structural Integration Practitioner. Magnus has taught myofascial and Thai Yoga Bodywork trainings for the past 30 years. He also holds many exercise certifications as a personal fitness trainer, yoga teacher, corrective exercise specialist, strength and conditioning coach and mobility specialist with The Ready State. He is educated at Lillsved Institute of higher learning in Stockholm Sweden where he studied exercise physiology, human anatomy/physiology, therapeutic movement and more. Magnus works alongside Bobbi with NFL, Olympic & other professional athletes as well as clients with pain & mobility issues in their clinic in Biloxi, MS. Bobbi is an experienced Synergetic Structural Integration teacher/ Practitioner & certified by Dr. Sue Morter as an Energy Codes Coach & Body Awake Yoga teacher. She also holds certifications in Shiatsu and is educated by massage schools in USA and Italy and is the former owner of Enterprise School of Massage therapy. She specializes in Synergetic Structural Integration, Myofascial therapy and Lymphatic drainage. Bobbi and Magnus are both LMT’s in Mississippi and Florida. They teach CE Myofascial, Thai Yoga Bodywork workshops, the Synergetic Structural Integration School, and at massage conventions in the USA and internationally.

Lecture: Myofascial anatomy, anatomy of skeletal, nervous system, and lymphatic system, history of fascial work, safe manual applications, contraindications/cautions, manual therapy strategies, functional movement and postural assessments.
Module 2
Lecture and demonstration dysfunctional and functional movement and postural patterns.
Module 3
Demonstration and student lab: manual myofascial techniques with active or passive client movement.
Module 4
Demonstration and student lab: manual assisted stretching and joint mobilizations/ “openings”.
Module 5
Demonstration and student lab: manual rocking/vibration techniques.
Module 6
Demonstration and student lab: safe biomechanics for the myofascial therapist.
Module 7
Demonstration and student lab: post treatment movement and strengthening approaches.
